its not a "complete" success list without dark souls imo, best game i have played so far this year. i finished it which says alot becuase i usually get bored with games and dont finsh them......

sooooooooooooooooo true, DS is easily a 9.5 and one of the best games this gen. however these are all opinions and what we think is gold may be nothing but a turd to them......
oh yes and this is what i really meant to say......
sony's few f*ups are the last thing that helped drive ms to where it is now, if anything it was all the successes of sony between this gen and last gen that put ms where it is now. both companies target the same demo and with that in mind there always trying to out do one another, neither console would be where its at now without eachothers succesful accomplishments......

yeah putting it that way i would have to agree with you. we have seen many once great studios fall with Rare being the best example, and its not even that they had bad games ( big fan of nuts and bolts ) but they were not accepted by the public...they helped push snes and n64 and even nes with some toads but fell flat after 64....
i would be willing to bet that bungie will be the next to fall, halo will be there legacy...

yeah reminds me alot of a 3D castlevania sotn, the level design is prob the best i have ever seen in an adventure game.
sony's only real f*ups this gen was their cocky attitude toward pricing/customer loyatly and being hacked which i dont think is their fault. they have done many more things right but i dont think many people went from sony to ms over pricing....
i think ms success is becuase they too have done many things right, they have a great system with 2 of the most popular shooters, a great if not arguably the best online experience of the three consoles and there constantly upda...

a decent monitor for a pc cost about 200 alone, so unless your talking tower only i call bs. even if you are talking tower only, you couldnt build a pc for 200 capable of running current gen games.

it would help me make up the 60 bones i lost on dark souls ( made a bet with my buddy, first to beat it wins 60, he put 70hrs in it already! wtf who has that kind of time, ill actually beat it in less total time but he beat it first :/ also made the bet becuase i expected a challenging game, its not easy but not that hard either )
you know i dont like defending cod but you guys have to keep this in mind, even if they did have a beta cod is still bound to have many more bugs for this simple reason......
10x as many players = that many more people who will be trying to find bugs and glitches
when/if BF gets that many players and is still bug free, then we can all rant about how much more polished ( bug wise only becuase BF is 10x better in every other way imo ) BF is than cod

Im with everyone else that you should def have a beta esp considering the popularity of these titles.
also i dont like cod im a battlefield guy, however....
as much as i favor dice and love how positive everyone in here is being, lets not forget that despite a beta for BC and BC2 both games were virtually impossible to play on day 1, if you got into a game and stayed in you could but otherwise it took like an hour to even connec...

tomb of the giants is after the catacombs, its tough becuase its hard as hell to see. and yeah almost every boss is cake with help, i tried the quelag alone a few times and it was tough as hell lol but once i got help i destroyed her.......still in the end its difficulty is def overrated
its not nearly as hard as people make it out to be man. also its one of the best games this gen so play it sooner rather than later esp so you can get help if you need it.
and fyi i have 50+hrs so far, i only struggled with 5 parts.

3. anor londo: this retarded section where arrows are beign shot at you
4. anor londo boss battle, raped them on the 6th try though

i agree, i dont play diablos but whenever a dev team goes from having an amazing hardcore rpg ( or any genre for that matter ) and make it more accessible we get another fable. sad part is no matter how "accessible you make it, the fans are what will make or break its success and once you alienate them, kiss your franchise goodbye. i dont know too many casual gamers who even know what diablo is, making it accessible to them doesnt make sense....
